EMS is proudly expanding our Telemedicine practice to offer guidance and certification into the Pennsylvania and Delaware Medical Marijuana Program. Our providers will conduct a comprehensive, confidential health screening and evaluate if this program is right for you. The best part-- you don’t have to leave your home!


  • • Must be 18 years of age or older.

    • You must be able to provide proof of your Pennsylvania residency.

    • You must have a Pennsylvania driver’s license or an ID card issued by the DOT.

    • You must have a diagnosis that qualifies in Pennsylvania

    • You must be certified by a physician

  • • Anxiety Disorder

    • Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis

    • Autism

    • Cancer, including remission therapy.

    • Crohn's disease

    • Damage to the nervous tissue of the central nervous system (brain-spinal cord) with objective neurological indication of intractable spasticity, and other associated neuropathies

    • Dyskinetic and spastic movement disorders

    • Epilepsy

    • Glaucoma

    • Hepatitis C

    • HIV / AIDS

    • Huntington's disease

    • Inflammatory bowel disease

    • Intractable seizures

    • Multiple sclerosis

    • Neurodegenerative diseases

    • Neuropathies

    • Opioid use disorder for which conventional therapeutic interventions are contraindicated or ineffective, or for which adjunctive therapy is indicated in combination with primary therapeutic interventions.

    • Parkinson's disease

    • Post-traumatic stress disorder

    • Severe chronic or intractable pain of neuropathic origin or severe chronic or intractable pain

    • Sickle cell anemia

    • Terminal illness

Get Started

  • 1. Register with the PA Department of Health online (Here) under Adult Patient Registration.

    You must enter in all information exactly as it appears on your Pennsylvania ID. You will receive a Registration ID that you will be required to provide on your EMS Telemedicine Intake forms.

    2. Request your Telemedicine Certification Appointment (Here)

    Visit our online scheduler and select the EMS Telemedicine location to view all available appointments for Medical Marijuana certification.

    3. Complete Intake Paperwork

    Once your appointment time has been confirmed your intake paperwork will be sent to your email directly. You will need to complete all required fields and submit your ID and a credit card to process your $120 payment for the appointment.

    NOTE: A COPY OF YOUR VALID ID IS REQUIRED AND MUST BE UPLOADED PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT.

    4. Speak with your EMS provider to determine if you qualify

    Your provider will review your paperwork and process your payment. Once everything is confirmed you will join your telemedicine appointment at the scheduled date and time. *You will receive a full refund if your certification is not approved.

    5. Return to PA Department of Health to pay your application fee

    Once approved, log back onto the Department of Health website and pay your Application fee. You will not receive your card until you have paid this annual fee.

    6. Receive your Medical Marijuana card in 2-5 Days

  • 1. Renew your State Registration

    Log into your profile on the Department of Health website and renew your annual application payment (Here)

    You must enter in all information exactly as it appears on your Pennsylvania ID. You will receive a Registration ID that you will be required to provide on your EMS Telemedicine Intake forms.

    2. Schedule your EMS Telemedicine Appointment

    Once your appointment time has been confirmed your intake paperwork will be sent to your email directly. You will need to complete all required fields and submit your ID and a credit card to process your $55 payment for the appointment.

    NOTE: A COPY OF YOUR VALID ID IS REQUIRED AND MUST BE UPLOADED PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT.
